About THE DECEMBERS TRILOGY For most, December is a month marked by celebration and joy. For Tara Sellers Willoughby, December has always meant dread and grief. When a remarkable young stranger saves her from a looming Chicago rainstorm, Tara doesn't know that she will also need saving from the imminent collision of infidelity, deception, and decades-old secrets she unwittingly discovers hidden inside an illusive box.
No matter how devastating the Decembers of her journey have been, Tara refuses to quit pushing forward, drawing from within an inexplicable tenacity for picking up the pieces and making the most of the month’s wreckage.
Ultimately, the lessons Tara’s journey teaches her about love, commitment, and forgiveness help bring closure to the conflict surrounding the month of December.

Great read, difficult to put down, and wonderful characters that you can't help to get attached to.
This is one of the best books I have read. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. You won't be disappointed!
There were too many plot lines in this book, it watered down the emotional depth of most of the characters.
I have very little time to read with work and family stuff but this is my "go to" whenever I have a free moment - every time. I'm on Chapter 6 and the plot is really starting to thicken. I love the characters already (some I dislike but I'm supposed to! ha!). As I'm reading, I can really imagine myself watching this unfold in person. I can't wait to read more.
Knowing the author I was honored to read her first novel being from Columbus and sharing in its history I was even more excited to read her work and she did not disappoint Gripping, intriguing, and full of wanting more this work is just like the wonderful person who created it. This is a must read and I cannot wait to see what else she has in-store. Thank you for sharing your gift.
This was one of the best books I have ever read. Once I got into it, it was hard to put down! So many aspects of this book were/are my life. I am truly inspired by the words I read and am excited to continue with the other books.
Fabulous book. I am only sorry this was a first novel because I can't find another to read now by this author! A love story that is very different from all the formula romance novels out there. Well written...what does love and commitment really mean? It delves into that and more, subtly weaving in religion and the meaning of friendship. What motivates our love? Do we choose who we love? Just read it!!!!
